ARrayVue Lite Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ARrayVue (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the ARrayVue Lite mobile application (the “App”).

Summary

ARrayVue Lite does not require accounts, registration, or login, and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or contact details. To help us understand how the App’s features are used and to improve the App, it collects a limited amount of anonymous usage analytics. This information cannot be used to identify you, and the App never transmits your precise location. Details are in the “Analytics” and “Information We Collect” sections below.

Information We Collect

Through an analytics service (see “Analytics”), the App collects the following anonymous, non-identifying information:

  • App usage events — which tools you open and complete (for example, calibration, the compass, and the measurement and layout operations), so we can understand which features are used.
  • Calibration and measurement quality values — technical results of an operation, such as calibration bearing precision, GPS-signal scatter, baseline distances and bearings, edge lengths, grade, and relative elevations. These describe the quality and output of a measurement, not you.
  • Approximate location — a coarse location rounded to the nearest whole degree of latitude and longitude (an area roughly 100 kilometers / 60 miles across), together with additional precision digits that are deliberately structured so that they cannot be recombined into your actual position. This lets us understand the general regions and GPS conditions in which the App is used. Your precise location is never transmitted.

This information is not linked to your identity and contains no personal contact details.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or contact details
  • Your precise location
  • Account credentials (the App has no user accounts)
  • Advertising identifiers (such as the IDFA) or cross-app tracking identifiers
  • Camera recordings, photos, or video
  • Your contacts, messages, or files

Camera Access

ARrayVue Lite requires access to your device’s camera solely to provide augmented reality (AR) functionality using Apple’s ARKit and SceneKit frameworks.

  • Camera data is processed in real time on your device.
  • No images, video, or camera data are recorded, stored, or transmitted by ARrayVue.
  • All AR processing occurs locally on your device.
  • If you disable camera access in your device settings, AR features of the App will not function.

Location Services

ARrayVue Lite requests access to your device’s location while the App is in use in order to provide its calibration and compass functionality.

Location data is used on your device to compute calibrations and measurements.

The App does not transmit your precise location. As described under “Analytics,” only a coarse, approximate location (rounded to the nearest whole degree, an area roughly 100 kilometers across) is transmitted, and it cannot identify a specific site.

You may disable location access at any time through your device settings. Some features of the App may not function properly if location access is disabled.

Analytics

The App uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused third-party analytics service, to collect the anonymous usage and quality information described in “Information We Collect.” The data the App sends contains no contact details and no precise location. Analytics are associated with an anonymous identifier so we can understand usage over time; this identifier is hashed and cannot be used to identify you. TelemetryDeck processes this information on our behalf; its own handling of data is governed by the TelemetryDeck privacy policy (https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy/).

We use these analytics solely to understand feature usage and improve the App. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

On-Device Processing

Most of the App’s processing occurs locally on your device. Any temporary visualization settings or session data remain on your device and are not accessible to ARrayVue. You may remove all locally stored data by deleting the App. The only information that leaves your device is the anonymous analytics described above.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics (see “Analytics”). The App does not integrate with advertising networks, social media platforms, or cross-app tracking tools.

If you download the App through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. ARrayVue does not control Apple’s data practices.

Children’s Privacy

ARrayVue Lite is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics the App collects are anonymous and are not tied to any individual.

Data Security

The anonymous analytics described above are transmitted over a secure connection to TelemetryDeck. Because we do not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, we do not store personal user information on our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
